I have a few here:

This isn’t any jazz or blues type; more rock but try a few Green Day songs.
1. Going to Pasalaqua. (3 chords basically)
3. Good Riddance (again 3 chords)
4. When I Come Around (4 chords)
5. Macy’s Day Parade. (4 chords)
Just a few easy (in my opinion) basic songs.
Mos of them are in the keys of A and C.
Why on earth would you ask for ‘non classical piano artists/pieces’ in the classical section???
Abdullah Ibrahim, Ray Charles, Nico Brenna (fastest boogie woogie player in the world), Roosevelt Sykes, Floyd Dixon, Marcia Ball, Dr. John, Professer Longhair, Jimmy Yancey, Otis Spann, Victor Brox, Jools Holland. If you get Ovation Network, you can watch "Later with Jools Holland", a BBC show rebroadcast in America, where you should see many of the best pianists in the world from time to time. This is how I discovered Abdullah Ibrahim, who is INCREDIBLE.
Oh, I almost forgot, The great Allen Toussaint. YouTube some of these names and see what you think. I suspect you will be extremely pleased.
I was classically trained but learned blues, gospel and soul from listening to records, playing with the masters and studying under Dr. John. There are many references out there and I teach in NYC and also offer online lessons through Keyboardmag.com and my website
